Western Australia
Western Australia is an extraordinary part of Australia and makes up one of the world’s last wilderness areas. Western Australia is also home to Australia’s rugged Kimberley landscape that was the inspiration for “Australia” the movie.
The northwest part of the state is perfect for that 4WD outback adventure, through red-earth, past extraordinary rock formations and across inland waterways. Some of the many highlights of a tour through north west Australia include Karijini National Park, Lake Argyle and Bungle Bungle Range.
The destinations to experience are:
- Australia’s South West (Bunbury, Margaret River, Albany)
- Australia’s North West (Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha)
- Australia’s Coral Coast (Exmouth, Carnarvon, Geraldton)
- Australia’s Golden Outback (Kalgoorlie, Esperance)
- Perth
